Luke Colton

Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer
Luke Colton was appointed to the additional position of interim Chief Executive Officer effective July 1, 2018.

Luke Colton was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Turquoise Hill Resources on October 9, 2017. Mr. Colton has been with Rio Tinto since 2004 and has worked in various business units, including minerals, iron ore and energy. In his most recent role as Richards Bay Chief Financial Officer, he was directly responsible for financial and managerial accounting, business planning, treasury, tax, warehousing and compliance functions as well as a member of the senior leadership team. Prior to joining Rio Tinto, Mr. Colton was Senior Accountant with Ernst & Young.

Brendan Lane

Vice President, Operations and Development
Brendan Lane was appointed Vice President, Operations and Development of Turquoise Hill Resources on February 1, 2016 bringing more than 25 years of mining industry experience to the Company. Since 2013, Mr. Lane has served as Minera Escondida Limitada and Grasberg Finance Director at Rio Tinto Copper. In this capacity, he provided strategic guidance and decision support to operational management teams with joint venture partners BHP Billiton and Freeport-McMoRan. Previously, Mr. Lane held a variety of commercial roles in the Rio Tinto copper and coal business units as well as engineering positions at Anglo American and BHP Billiton. Mr. Lane holds a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Queensland and a Master of Applied Finance degree from the University of Southern Queensland.

Dustin S. Isaacs

Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Dustin Isaacs was appointed General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Turquoise Hill Resources on January 1, 2013. Mr. Isaacs has more than 15 years of legal, governance and transactional experience. Prior to joining Turquoise Hill, Mr. Isaacs worked for two years at Rio Tinto holding lead legal roles in various transactional and joint venture projects as well as providing legal, commercial and strategic advice to certain business units. He was previously in private legal practice for close to 10 years as part of the business law group at a top-tier Canadian law firm. Mr. Isaacs holds LL.B. (Common Law), B.C.L. (Civil Law) and B.A. (Honours) degrees from McGill University and has his ICD.D designation.
